Abandoned School (First Urbex in Brisbane)

So a few months ago, I had a sudden obsession and appreciation for abandoned buildings especially while I was in Brisbane, they have way more interesting ones than in Malaysia. They call it Urbex (urban exploration : the exploration of man-made structures, usually abandoned ruins or not usually seen components of the man-made environment). So this abandoned art college/school is one of many that I've managed to find.

one word to describe this place : beautiful mess

main entrance of the school

entrance of part of a building

there were loadsssss of this everywhere

creepy hallways

their graffiti gets more amazing as we explored

live graffiti artist doing his thang

While exploring we took some time to do a bigger shoot that we've thought and planned before hand. This was one of them.

"You're the author of your own life story. You can start a new chapter anytime you choose."

after

Here's how we did it :

throw loads of papers of course and layer them in photoshop

 more

 and more

 and more

you get the point..

I took about more than 60 pictures so it took some time to choose the best ones.

So there it is! Hopefully more urbex to come in the future!

Special thanks to Shawn and Solo for helping out!
